[GER] HEMAYATGARAN: Solidaitätserklärung mit dem ägyptischen Volk

Wir, die Hemayatgaran- für die grüne bewegung im Iran- Berlin, erklären uns solidarisch mit dem ägyptischen Volk.

Das ägyptische Volk hat das Recht auf eine selbstbestimmte Zukunft.

Hier im Westen hieß es viel zu lange: lieber ein stabiles repressives System, als eine unvorhersehbare Demokratie in der Region. Diese Haltung macht uns zu Mittätern von einem Staat, der seine Bevölkerung entmündigen möchte.  

Der orientalische Raum ist eine Region, die immer mit Vorbehalt und im islamischen Kontext betrachtet wird. Sie ist aber zu mehr fähig. Vergessen wir nicht den Sommer 2009, in dem sich das iranische Volk, zu Millionen gegen die Diktatur im eigenen Land ausgesprochen hat. Menschen wurden in ihrem Freiheitskampf von der repressiven Regierung brutal unterdrückt, Tausende zu politischen Gefangenen gemacht und Hunderte getötet und hingerichtet. Während dessen hat sich der Westen weitesgehend zurückgehalten und zugesehen, wie die Miliz die Menschenrechte mit Schlagstöcken uminterpretiert hat. Heute dauert der Freiheitskampf im Iran an. Iranische Oppositionelle, Intellektuelle und breite Volksgruppen erklärten sich in den vergangenen Wochen solidarisch mit der ägyptischen Opposition.

Es scheint als würden Diejenigen, die die Demokratie genießen, sie nur bedingt mit Anderen teilen wollen, während Diejenigen, die um sie kämpfen müssen, sie als universell betrachten.

Demokratie ist kein Luxus, der nur Denen zusteht, den wir es gönnen. Demokratie ist ein universeller Weg auf den jede Nation ein Recht hat. Der Weg zu einer selbstbestimmten, selbstverantworteten, Staatspolitik und die Mitgestaltung der eigenen Zukunft.

Seit drei Jahrzenten ist Husni Mubarak im Amt. Zu lange schon wurde er als Stabilitätspuffer in der Region toleriert und zum Freund des Westens erklärt. Doch spätestens seit Beginn der Proteste kann er sich nicht mehr als legitimer Amtsinhaber verstehen. Sein Klammern an der Macht ist inakzeptabel und verstößt gegen die Wünsche des ägyptischen Volkes.

Da wir, die Hemayatgaran, die demokratischen Werte als absolut universell verstehen, erklären wir uns solidarisch mit der friedlichen Opposition und den demonstrierenden Menschen Ägyptens. Es liegt nicht an uns ihre Zukunft zu bewerten und nach unseren Wünschen zu justieren. Wir müssen ihnen Mut geben und Unterstützung zusichern, in ihrem Bestreben nach besseren Lebensumständen und ein menschenwürdiges zusammenleben in ihrer Heimat und in der Region.

Jafar Panahi senteced to Jail

Jafar Panahi a unique Director of Films has been sentenced to 6 years;

for his critical point of view and his political opinions jafar panahi was sentenced today with an injustice verdict in an iranian court. Six years of Jail, 20 years of absolute creative work restriction and travel ban. It's unjust to sentence Jafar Panahi like this; it's not just a sentence for him this is a sentence for art and cinema in general. This verdict is a threat to the critical arts, as every totalitarian power fears its power and tries to control or condamm it. 

I feel very much for this nice and gentle artist, who made such moving and love praising films. The last time I met him was in berlin when he was celebrating with his team members for getting the grand prize of the Berlinale Film Festival jury, for his beautiful and heartwarming film “Offside” in which he showed the lionhearted girls of Iran struggling with the men dominated Iran, while the only thing they are trying is to express their love for the sport football,..

In 2010 he was not given the right travel out of Iran and was also detained for a while, in order to keep him from attending at the 60^th Berlinale Film festival in a Discussion to which he was invited. The Festival Director Dieter Kosslik expressd his concerns in this matter officially.

In the upcoming Berlinale 2011 Jafar Panahi is invited to take part as a juror of the Festival.

Back then I hoped to see much more films made by him, because of his unique way of telling a suspenseful and entertaining story with a glimpse in to another Iran, in which the people are free to express their love without the boundaries of intolerance and permanent censorship. Now more than ever I feel it’s every artists and admirer of the Arts duty to stand against this injustice behavior, for our all benefit and for those like Jafar Panahi that take the long road and walk it so we can understand and enjoy more of what I only can call Life . 

I ask everyone not to forget this artist whom works is just not jet done.

May he and his family be together soon again.

"Hacking the propaganda Machinery ”

The frontpage of “IRNA” the Iranian news agency’s internal site says in big green Persian letters next to a victory anagram “Green 22^nd of Khordad.” IRNA was hacked by members of the “Green Movement of Iran”.

 IRNA stands for: Islamic Republic News Agency which in fact also defines the way this agency is corresponding. The censorship has not much to work on when it comes to this agency, since its officials are directly chosen by the “Religious Leader” and therefore are loyal to the authorities in Iran. In fact media and specially Television and Radio in Iran are not privatized and run by government money and stand answer to the same.

During the last year even before the elections the IRNA network wasn’t impartial when it came to the subject of the elections and the Opposition of the reformist candidates. Ahmadinejad got a lot of support of the official media for his campaign while Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karoubi had non what so ever. After the election fraud, committed during the presidential election of 12^th June. 2009 in Iran IRNA not only confirmed Ahmadynejads advertised win over the opposition earlier then the officials , but didn’t even perceive the Protests. When estimated 2 Mio citizens of Tehran protested for hours, there was first not a single picture or comment on the issue. After a while IRNA even started to line and backup the accusations that the hardliners and Ahmadinejad supporters made against the opposition and the “Green Movement of Iran”

In this particular case now the internal website of IRNA, which is used for the correspondents and editors of the agency, has been hacked by members of the “Green Movement of Iran.” This is an act of creating awareness for the vitality of the “Green Movement of Iran”
One of the pictures put on the site next to the login button shows a huge crowd of “Green Protesters” holding pictures of Mousavi has the logline “You can be sure: We are countless” and the other famous picture taken by Farhad Bahram ist turned in to a “Green Poster”  that shows a sad young Iranian wearing the symbolic green scarf around his neck with tears in his eyes, with the writing on it saying “I had a dream, which will come true.”

In regards to the upcoming anniversary of the election fraud, on 12^th of June. 2010 this is also an announcement, that there will be demonstrations on this day. Furthermore one must consider hacking this page as a way of creating “denial of service” similar to “civil disobedience” and sabotage, since IRNA being a direct tool of mass propaganda and manipulation of the coup government it is a way of fighting back without spilling blood.

This should be and stay the main tactic of the “Green Movement of Iran” since fighting for freedom and democracy with the use of violence dose not only seem contradictory but also is not a very promising way. But fighting with patience and intelligence in a way that no physical harm is done is promising and makes room for great hope.

"Sie wollten mich einschüchtern"

Schwester der Iranischen Friedens Nobelpreis Gewinnerin aus dem Gefängnis entlassen.

Laut dem arabisch sprachigen Nachrichtensender Al Jazeera, wurde die Schwester der Friedensnobelpreisgewinnerin, Shirin Ebadi nach drei Wochen Haft endlich entlassen.

"Noushin" wurde kurz vor der Jahreswende 09/10 von Sicherheitskräften verhaftet. Frau Ebadi, eine ehemalige Richterin, musste ihren Beruf nach der Islamischen Revolution 1979 aufgeben und durfte fortan "nur noch" als Juristin in Rechtsfragen tätig sein, 2003 erhielt sie für ihr Engagement den Friedensnobelpreis.

Sie geht davon aus, dass die Verhaftung Ihrer Schwester ein Taktischer Zug war um sie einzuschüchtern. Seit der Iranischen Präsidentschaftswahl vom 12.Juni.2009 lebt Frau Ebadi außerhalb des Irans und kritisierte das Vorgehen der Regierung gegenüber den anhaltenden Protesten der Grüne Bewegung.

"Mohammad Taqi Khalaji" arrested!

According to his son, Mehdi Khalaji, he was arrested on the 12th of January, also his families passports have bin confiscated and they have being prohibited to leave Iran, till further notice. This arrest is one step more the Iranian disputed government is taking after the events after the June 2009 Presidential election and the recent events since Ayatollah Montazeris (one of the highest Shea Clerics ) death and the ongoing oppression of the green movement.

In the last few month not Only Montazeri criticized the violence and the actions including the election fraud committed by the Iranian authorities, but also many moderate Islamic Clerics took the side of the peace full protesters and stressed out there fundemental rights to protect peacefully.

The Gap that has existed for years, between a large number of the Islamic high clerics and the Iranian government has grown. Religious Figures that were "untouchable" are turned to "Persona-non-Grata", even the highest clerics like Ayatollah Sanei are now discussing the failure of the Islamic Republic and therefor being considered as traitor of the "revolutionary values". It is an open question how long the conservative clerics will stand on the side of Ahmadinejad and the revolutionary Guards including the supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamaney, since the religious part of Iran still counts on the authority of cleric's. This clerics give or take away a large part of the legitimacy that the government in the Islamic Republic of Iran needs.l

On Tuesday (Janurary 12) afternoon four agents of intelligence ministry went to our home in Qom and arrested my father Mohammad Taqi Khalaji. They searched the home and collected hundreds of his notes, books, personal letters, computer and also our satellite receiver. They also took the passport of whole family and said that all members of family are banned from leaving Iran. My parents along with my daughter were planning to come to United States on March to visit me for two weeks. My family does not know where my father is held and Iranian officials do not give them any information.

My father is a prominent cleric who was close to Ayatollah Montazeri. He is one of closet clerics to Ayatollah Sanei who was recently attacked by regime. My father was an outspoken cleric who supported the green movement and criticized the regime for its policy in his recent speeches in Tehran and also in Qom.

are available. I believe spreading the news is better than keeping silent. I deeply appreciate any effort to disseminate the news of my father arrest and I am ready to discuss it this with media.
